This painting was created right on the shoreline of Whiskeytown Lake. I let the elements guide me—layering flowing paint, sand, and charcoal from the Carr fire to capture the movement where earth meets water. It’s a dance, really… the gentle pull, the quiet surrender, the beauty that rises from the depths.
